Kevin Marfo, a consensus three-star prospect, committed to George Washington on Friday night, picking the Colonials over offers from ACC and Big East schools.
George Washington won out over the other four finalists: DePaul, Providence, Boston College and Rhode Island. Marfo was offered by DePaul in April. Providence extended an offer in August.
Marfo joins an incoming class for GW that includes fellow power forward Collin Smith and point guard Darnell Rogers, son of Shawnta Rogers, the 1999 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year.
