Peter Maetzold threw two touchdowns and Kendall Pearcey ran in three more to propel Fordham past Georgetown in a 52-7 win on Saturday that kept the Rams unbeaten in the Patriot League.
Maetzold finished with 285 yards on 15-for-19 passing and Pearcey had 89 yards on 14 carries, with all three of his TD runs coming from within the red zone. Chase Edmonds and Kevin Anderson also had touchdown runs, while Brian Wetzel and Sam Ajala each hauled in a TD pass for Fordham (10-1, 6-0), which has won three Patriot League titles and received the 2014 championship trophy following the win.
The Rams dominated Georgetown (2-8, 0-5), piling up 496 yards in total offense while holding the Hoyas to 251, including just 80 yards in the air.
Jo'el Kimpela had 102 yards on 15 carries for Georgetown, which was held scoreless until the fourth quarter.
