The upcoming FOX UFC Fight Night card in Orlando, Fla., just added two more stellar matchup as Myles Jury will make his featherweight debut as he faces Charles Oliveira, while Randa Markos takes on recently signed prospect Karolina Kowalkiewicz on Dec. 19.
Both fights were announced on "UFC Tonight" Wednesday.
Jury decided to drop down to 145 pounds just recently after cracking the top 10 rankings as a lightweight over the past year.
Jury last fought in January when he lost a unanimous decision to Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone and was scheduled to return in April before an injury derailed his plans. With the additional time off, Jury decided to make the move down to featherweight where he would find a better size advantage than competing at 155 pounds.
He faces Oliveira, who will return to action for the first time since a neck injury stopped his last bout against Max Holloway at FS1 UFC Fight Night in Canada in August.
Prior to that loss, Oliveira had won four fights in a row as he climbed up the divisional rankings at 145 pounds.
Also announced on Wednesday is a strawweight matchup between Markos and Kowalkiewicz, who will be making her UFC debut after signing with the promotion several weeks ago.
Markos is a former "Ultimate Fighter" semifinalist, who was gunning for a matchup with Paige VanZant recently. The UFC opted to pit VanZant against Joanne Calderwood so that left Markos without an opponent and now she'll return in December against Kowalkiewicz.
The Polish strawweight is 7-0 as a professional and a veteran of Invicta FC. She will face a very tough test for her first bout in the UFC drawing Markos for her debut.
FOX UFC Fight Night goes down from Orlando with lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos headlining the show against Cerrone in the five-round main event.
