The Los Angeles Galaxy completed the permanent transfer of midfielder Juninho on Wednesday, signing the Brazilian to a multi- year contract from Sao Paulo.
The 24-year-old spent the past three seasons on loan with the Galaxy, but now joins the club on a permanent basis after appearing in 87 league games and scoring 13 goals with eight assists.
Juninho enjoyed his best campaign with the team last season as he featured in a career-high 32 matches for the club, netting seven goals and assisting on four more.
He also played a key role in the Galaxy's postseason success by playing in all six games and assisting on two goals as the club captured its second straight MLS Cup title.
