Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) - Winnipeg Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba underwent surgery on Thursday to have a broken bone in his hand repaired.
The Jets on Friday said Trouba is expected to make a full recovery in time for training camp in September.
Trouba was hurt in Game 2 of Winnipeg's first-round playoff series against Anaheim and played through the injury, notching two assists in the four-game sweep by the Ducks.
The 21-year-old Michigan native missed about four weeks in December and January with an upper-body injury and played just 65 games. He scored seven goals and added 15 assists for 22 points.
