Jets RB Greene leaves game with rib injury

New York Jets running back Shonn Greene left Thursday's game against the Denver Broncos in the first quarter with a rib injury.

Greene took a screen to the left midway through the opening quarter and was hit in the ribs as he was going to the ground.

He laid on the ground in obvious pain for a couple minutes holding his side before getting up and walking off the field under his own power.

After getting looked at on the bench by trainers, he was escorted into the locker room.

His return is questionable.

The Jets are already without veteran running back LaDanian Tomlinson, who sat out the game with a knee injury, and are left with Joe McKnight and Bilal Powell as their running backs.
