The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent forward Alexei Ponikarovsky.

No terms of the deal were disclosed, but the Free Press reported Sunday that the deal is $1.8 million for one year.

The 32-year-old winger totaled 14 goals and 33 points in 82 games between Carolina and New Jersey last season, picking up a goal and nine points in 24 playoff games.

A former fourth-round pick of the Maple Leafs in 1998, Ponikarovsky has produced 135 goals and 314 points in 636 NHL contests for Toronto, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Carolina and New Jersey since 2000.
