SYDNEY (AP) Mile Jedinak, Tomi Juric and Robbie Kruse have been ruled out of the Australia's 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Bangladesh and will be replaced by Italian-based attacker Chris Ikonomidis, striker Ben Halloran and midfielder Luke Brattan.
Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou said Friday that Jedinak sustained a hamstring injury playing for Crystal Palace while Kruse and Juric have been recovering from recent injuries.
The match is scheduled for Perth, Western Australia next Thursday.
Postecoglou said Jedinak will also miss Australia's next qualifier, an away match against Tajikistan on Sept. 8.
