Salt Lake City, UT – The Utah Jazz have agreed to terms with free agent forward Josh Howard.
Howard was traded from Dallas to Washington during the 2009-10 season and played just four games with the Wizards before tearing the ACL in his left knee. The injury limited the 2007 All-Star to just 18 games last season in Washington.
Howard, 31, had averaged at least 12.5 points per game in his final five-plus seasons in Dallas, topping out at 19.9 ppg in 2007-08.
The 6-foot-7 Wake Forest product owns career averages of 15.1 points and 5.9 rebounds in 453 games with Dallas and Washington.
