PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico – Jason Bohn had a 4-under 67 on a rainy day in Mexico to take a one-shot lead over Shawn Stefani in the OHL Classic on Saturday.
Bohn looked as though he would have a greater margin heading into the final round of the last PGA Tour event of the calendar year. With two tough pars, he stretched his lead to three shots going into the 18th hole on the El Camaleon course at Mayakoba.
Stefani made a 20-foot birdie putt for a 68. Bohn three-putted across the green for his only bogey on the back nine, a two-shot swing that reduced his lead to one shot.
Bohn was at 15-under 198.
Michael Putnam, the 36-hole leader, shot 78 and was nine shots behind.
