The first two picks of the NFL draft are a foregone conclusion if offshore oddsmakers have it right.
Jared Goff will become a member of the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night, according to the oddsmakers. The Golden Bears quarterback has pulled away on the odds to be the first overall selection at this year NFL Draft at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com, sitting as the -850 favorite on those betting props. North Dakota State's Carson Wentz, meanwhile, is now a +500 underdog on those odds and presumably a future employee of the Philadelphia Eagles, who own the second pick in the NFL Draft thanks to last week's trade with Cleveland.
As well, the OVER/UNDER for the number of quarterbacks taken in the first round is set at 2.5 at the sportsbooks, with the OVER the -1200 favorite and Memphis's Paxton Lynch along with Michigan State's Connor Cook other potential first-round QBs.
The OVER/UNDER for first-round running backs for Thursday is at 1.5, while for first-round wide receivers is at 3.5.
