Manchester, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Adnan Januzaj has committed his future to Manchester United by signing a five-year contract extension, the Premier League club revealed Saturday.
The 18-year-old has made a bright start to his career in the United first- team, terrorizing the Crystal Palace defense in his Premier League debut on Sept. 14 and bagging a brace to lead the club to a 2-1 win over Sunderland in his first league start on Oct. 5.
"It's a great thrill to be able to sign for Manchester United," Januzaj told the club's official website. "Since arriving here I have always felt like this was the right club for me.
"This season has been great for me - going on the pre-season tour, making my debut in the Community Shield win at Wembley and then breaking into the team at Sunderland - it's like a dream. I want to work hard now and establish myself as a Manchester United player."
