LeBron James is about to join another exclusive NBA club.

The Miami Heat forward is two points away from reaching 2,000 for this season. It'll be the seventh straight season James scores that many, and only seven other NBA players have put up that many points in as many seasons.

James will be the youngest in that club, two years ahead of Oscar Robertson, who was 28 when he had his seventh season of 2,000 points.

Every other player with seven seasons of scoring 2,000 points — Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Alex English, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Dominique Wilkins and Robertson — is in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Kobe Bryant needs only 85 points in the Lakers' final six games to get to 2,000 for the seventh time as well.

The Heat host Milwaukee Wednesday night.
