Jacob Enevold Jensen scored 10 points and hauled in 12 rebounds to lead Drake to its first win of the season with a 73-60 victory over IUPUI on Tuesday night.

Drake (1-3) opened with a 9-2 spurt to capture a lead it never relinquished, then took control with a 13-2 run early in the second half that included a Chris Caird 3-pointer and was capped with an Envold Jensen layup that made it 47-27 with 16:12 to play.

Reed Timmer contributed 12 points and C.J. Rivers added 11 points for Drake, which shot 60.9 percent from the floor to snap a four-game skid stretching back to last season. It was Enevold Jensen's first career double-double.

IUPUI (2-3) came into the game after a 71-69 overtime win Saturday over Ball State but hit just 20 of 56 from the floor Tuesday and had no players in double figures.
