Issiah Grayson scored 22 points to lead Cal State Bakersfield to an 83-65 win over Seattle on Saturday night.

Trailing 47-33, Seattle used an 8-0 run to pull within six with fewer than 13 minutes remaining.

Aly Ahmed's layup about 3 ½ minutes later sparked a 14-2 spurt by CSUB (11-14, 4-7 Western Athletic Conference), pushing the Roadrunners' lead to 18, 66-48, and Seattle never threatened again.

Ahmed finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Javonte Maynor and Brandon Barnes scored 11 apiece for Bakersfield, which shot 52 percent overall, including 6 of 9 from 3-point range.

Seattle (12-12, 4-7) made just 23 of 64 field goals, going 9 of 34 from deep, and committed 18 turnovers.

Isiah Umipig paced the Redhawks with 12 points and Emerson Murray added another 10.
