Yuto Nagatomo and Rodrigo Palacio scored in the final 15 minutes at the San Siro on Sunday to help Inter Milan make a winning start to the Serie A season with a 2-0 defeat of Genoa.
After 75 scoreless minutes, it looked as if the two sides would be destined to finish with a point apiece, but the home side managed to break the deadlock when Nagatomo took advantage of a fortuitous bounce in the penalty area to convert from close range.
Inter put the victory beyond any doubt in stoppage time when Fredy Guarin set the table for Palacio to chip a shot over Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin for the insurance goal.

Marek Hamsik helped Napoli extend the lead, doubling the home side's advantage in first-half stoppage time before completing his brace in the 63rd minute.

The visitors went one goal to the good in 27th minute through Guglielmo Stendardo, but the lead was short lived as Radja Nainggolan equalized just one minute later. The two sides remained level until the 63rd minute when Cabera popped up with the winner.
