Indians activate Choo from DL

Arlington, TX – The Cleveland Indians activated outfielder Soo Choo from the 15-day disabled list, but he left Thursday night's 7-4 loss to the Texas Rangers.

Choo, who was put on the DL August 28 with a left oblique strain, departed in the second inning with left rib cage aggravation. He is batting .259 with eight home runs and 36 RBI in 85 games this year. He was also on the DL from June 25 - August 11 with a broken left thumb.
