Jean Hugo posted a 5-under 67 on Friday to roll to a 7-stroke victory at the Vodacom Origins of Golf.

Hugo earned his 15th career victory on the Sunshine Tour at 14-under-par 202.

After grabbing control of the tournament with a 63 on Thursday, Hugo pulled even further away from his competitors when he opened his final round with birdies at the first, fourth and eighth.

A 3-putt bogey at the 11th dropped him back to 11-under, but he bounced right back with consecutive birdies at the 12th and 13th, and later closed with a birdie at the last to claim the win.

"That birdie was a nice way to finish it," said Hugo.

Merrick Bremner (67), Jbe' Kruger (69) and Andrew Curlewis (70) shared second at Langebaan Country Estate at 7-under, while Steven Ferreira (69) and Titch Moore (70) tied for fifth at minus-6.

Vaughn Groenwald (69), Mark Murless (70), Heinrich Bruiners (72) and Attie Schwartzel (75) occupied seventh at 5-under 211.
