Dwight Howard, Stephen Curry and Tyson Chandler are among the NBA players who will appear on Disney XD next month during what the network is calling "Pranksgiving."

Curry and Chandler join centers Kenneth Faried and DeAndre Jordan as part of a crew who will join Crash, a puppet from the sitcom "Crash & Bernstein" to pull pranks on some of the network's stars.

The monthlong programming event begins Monday, Nov. 4 and features new episodes each week.

Also that night, Howard will make a guest appearance on the comedy series "Mighty Med." The new Houston Rockets center will play a superhero called "the Great Defender."

The network has become a favorite of NBA players, some of whom were featured last year in a program called "My Life as an NBA Rookie."

Curry, the Golden State Warriors' sharp shooter, said he and the other pranksters had the chance "to connect with kids and families in a different way and show them a side of us they don't usually see."
