Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Heat on Tuesday exercised the 2014-15 contract option for guard Norris Cole.
Per club policy, no terms were disclosed.
Cole was originally the 28th pick of the 2011 draft by Minnesota, but he had his rights traded to Miami in a draft day trade.
The 24-year-old Ohio native has averaged 6.1 points, 2.0 assists and 1.5 rebounds over 145 career games with the Heat, winning two league championships as a reserve.
