Oklahoma City, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Atlanta Hawks forward Mike Scott will miss the next 2-to-4 weeks of action due to a sprained left big toe.
That's a significant change from an earlier diagnosis. Scott was hurt during a March 11 game against Denver and initial tests on the left toe revealed a strain. However, an MRI exam in Phoenix a week ago revealed a fracture. That sort of injury may have kept him sidelined for six weeks.
Scott is a key member of Atlanta's bench, averaging 7.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 62 games this season.
