Valencia, Spain (SportsNetwork.com) - Valencia will be without forward Pablo Piatti for up to five weeks because of a hamstring injury, the club confirmed.

Piatti sustained the injury in training on Friday, and after undergoing tests on Monday, it was confirmed that he will spend another spell on the sidelines after missing time in September due to a thigh problem.

"Tests on Monday morning confirmed that the player (Piatti) has a hamstring injury in his right leg, with a recovery time of 4-5 weeks," read a statement from the club.

The 24-year-old joined Valencia from Almeria in 2011 and he has netted five goals in 18 appearances for Los Che this season.

In addition to Piatti, Valencia also has confirmed that defender Philippe Senderos will miss time with a groin strain.
