Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol will be out indefinitely with an abdominal tear, the team announced on Saturday.

Gasol originally suffered the injury in a win over Portland on March 6, but aggravated the tear in Friday's loss to the New Orleans Hornets. There is no time table for his return.

Over 68 games this season, Gasol is averaging 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest.

The Grizzlies currently hold the fifth seed in the upcoming Western Conference playoffs and have 14 games remaining.
