Scott Norwood missed a crushing 47-yard-field goal against the New York Giants at the end of Super Bowl XXV that people will always remember as "Wide Right." That loss also kicked off four consecutive Super Bowl losses for the Bills.

    Then-Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes made an unbelievable tippy-toe catch with 35 seconds left to secure a 27-23 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII and the Steelers record-setting sixth Super Bowl win overall.

    The "Helmet Catch" defined a player's career and cost the Patriots a perfect season. New York Giants wide receiver David Tyree made the greatest catch in Super Bowl history, pinning the ball against his helmet after Eli Manning -- who escaped a sack -- heaved the ball downfield during the waning moments of Super Bowl XLII. The catch set up a touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress to secure a Giant upset over the New England Patriots, 17-14.

    Who would've thought this kick by Adam Vinatieri would start a Patriots dynasty? The underdog team led by Tom Brady shocked the heavily favored St. Louis Rams 20-17 in Super Bowl XXXVI thanks to Vinatieri's 48-yard-field goal as time expired.

    Just one yard. That's all the Tennessee Titans needed to tie up the game and force overtime, but the Rams Mike Jones tackled Titans wide receiver Kevin Dyson at the one-yard line as time expired to give the Rams their first-ever Super Bowl title with a 23-16 win.

    It was the Super Bowl that changed the game. Joe Namath "guaranteed" the AFL's New York Jets would defeat the heavily-favored Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III, and he delivered. "Broadway Joe" was named Super Bowl MVP after throwing for 206 yards in the 16-7 win. It's been the only Super Bowl the Jets have played in.

Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Fame wide receiver Lynn Swann caught four passes for 161 yards -- including this memorable diving catch after tripping over a Dallas Cowboys defender -- and was named MVP of Super Bowl X as the Steelers defeated the Cowboys 21-17.

While the 300-pound defensive lineman “sprinted” down the field, he slowed down and outstretched his arms in celebration with 10 yards to go to the goal line. But out of nowhere, Bills receiver Don Beebe comes charging from behind and knocks the ball out of Lett’s hands.

    Dallas Cowboys tight end Jackie Smith was the “sickest man in America” during Super Bowl XIII against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Smith was wide open in the end zone when he dropped a certain touchdown in the third quarter. The Cowboys were down 21-14 at the time, and ended up losing to the Steelers 35-31.

    What couldn’t Joe Montana do? While Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason was filming an. “I’m Going to Disney World” commercial with the Bengals leading 16-13 over the San Francisco 49ers with 3:10 left in Super Bowl XXIII, Joe Cool had other ideas. Montana led the 'Niners 92 yards down the field, eventually connecting with wide receiver John Taylor with just 35 seconds left in the game. Montana secured the Super Bowl win, defeating the Bengals 20-16.

    Super Bowl V between the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys is best known as the “Blunder Bowl.” The two teams combined for 11 turnovers, a Super Bowl record to this day. The Colts committed seven turnovers while the Cowboys rang up a record 10 penalties for 133 yards. The Colts won the game when rookie kicker Jim O’Brien booted a 32-yard field goal with five seconds left, lifting the Colts to a 16-13 victory.

    A kicker nearly cost the Miami Dolphins their perfect season in Super Bowl VII. In the final two minutes of the game against the Washington Redskins, Dolphins kicker Garo Yepremian picked up a blocked field goal and attempted a forward pass but batted it in the air. Redskins cornerback Mike Bass intercepted and returned it for a 49-yard touchdown. Luckily for the Dolphins that was all the scoring the Redskins did. Miami captured the Super Bowl – and a perfect season – with a 14-7 victory.
