Deventer, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Go Ahead Eagles came out on top of a seven-goal thriller at the Adelaarshorst on Saturday, earning a 4-3 defeat of NEC for its third victory of the campaign.

The home side was three goals to the good inside the opening half-hour as Deniz Turuc, Xander Houtkoop and Jarchinio Antonia chipped in with a goal apiece.

Go Ahead held the three-goal margin until the latter stages when NEC hit for three goals in the span of 15 minutes.

Michael Higdon leveled the score for the visitors in the 72nd minute, four minutes before Jakob Jantscher brought them to within one.

Ryan Koolwijk thought he had done enough to earn NEC a point when he equalized in the 87th minute, but a late own goal from Alireza Jahanbakhsh gave the home the win.

Go Ahead improves to 12 points while NEC, still searching for its first Eredivisie win of the season, stays at the foot of the table on four points.

Also on Saturday, Roda was reduced to nine men but still managed to claim a point from a 0-0 draw with Zwolle, and Stipe Perica scored seven minutes from time to see NAC get a 2-1 victory over Heracles.

Den Haag's meeting with Heerenveen was postponed due to poor pitch conditions.
