London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Arsenal revealed Tuesday that striker Olivier Giroud has agreed to a two-year extension of his current contract with the English club.
The 28-year-old is recovering from surgery on a broken left tibia and is expected to be out of action until the end of the year, but Arsenal has rewarded the Frenchman for his service to the club by locking him up until 2018.
