Giants bring back C Whiteside
San Francisco, CA – The San Francisco Giants have signed year contract.
The 32-year-old Whiteside became a free agent on Monday when San Francisco declined to tender him a 2012 contract.
Whiteside batted .197 with four homers and 17 RBI in 82 games for the Giants last season.
