Old Dominion head football coach Bobby Wilder on Thursday announced the signing of four newcomers who will join his program for the spring semester.

The players are Rahsaan Moore, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound defensive end from District Heights, Md., and a transfer from the University of Maryland; Ervin Johnson, a 6-1, 200-pound linebacker from Bradenton, Fla., and Dean Junior College; Calvert Cook, a 6-foot, 210-pound linebacker from nearby Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk; and Darius Wilkins, a 6-3, 210-pound defensive end from Middle Creek High School in Apex N.C.

Moore will have three years of eligibility with the Monarchs, while Johnson will have two years remaining. Cook and Wilkins will enroll at ODU after both graduated a semester early from their high schools.

Since restarting its football team in 2009, Old Dominion has become the winningest start-up program in FCS history with a three-year record of 27-8, including 10-3 this season.
