(SportsNetwork.com) - Four Dallas Cowboys were chosen for the 2014 Pro Football Writers of America All-NFL team.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant, center Travis Frederick, running back DeMarco Murray and tackle Tyron Smith earned the honor. Murray, Bryant and Smith were also First-Team All-Pro selections by the Associated Press.
Six players repeated from the PFWA's 2013 All-NFL team: Cleveland Browns tackle Joe Thomas, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, Carolina Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly and two from the Seattle Seahawks, cornerback Richard Sherman and safety Earl Thomas. Sherman, Thomas and Watt are members of the PFWA's All-NFL team for the third consecutive season, the longest current streak among active players.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell and wide receiver Antonio Brown, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Packers guard Josh Sitton and Ravens guard Marshal Yanda completed the offense.
Joining Suh, Kuechly, Watt, Sherman and Thomas for the defense were Bills' defensive end Mario Williams and defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston, Broncos linebacker Von Miller, Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis and Chargers safety Eric Weddle.
The specialists chosen were kicker Adam Vinatieri and punter Pat McAfee of the Colts; returners Adam Jones of the Bengals and Darren Sproles of the Eagles; and special teams standout Matthew Slater of the Patriots.
