Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel underwent successful surgery on his fractured right fibula Wednesday afternoon.
Driskel suffered the season-ending injury in the first quarter of Saturday's 31-17 win over Tennessee.
He had a plate and screws inserted in his fractured fibula, and doctors also repaired his medial ligaments and put two screws across his ankle joint.
Florida also announced that senior defensive tackle Dominique Easley will miss the rest of the season because of a torn ACL in his right knee. He suffered the injury late Tuesday night near the end of practice in a non-contact situation.
Easley suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in the final regular-season game of his sophomore season in 2011. He returned to play 11 games last season.
