Federer cruises to Swiss Indoors title

Basel, Switzerland – Roger Federer cruised to a straight-sets victory against Japan's Kei Nishikori in Sunday's final at the Swiss Indoors Basel tennis event.

Federer needed only 72 minutes to record a 6-1, 6-3 victory and win the crown for the fifth time in the last six years.

Nishikori had upended world No. 1 Novak Djokovic in Saturday's semifinals.
