Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Atlanta Falcons starting cornerback Robert Alford is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks due to a wrist injury.
Alford suffered the injury during the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Carolina Panthers and did not return.
In starting all 10 games this season, Alford has posted 31 tackles and three interceptions.
The Falcons also announced that running back Antone Smith is out for the remainder of the season with a broken leg.
Smith's season comes to end with 23 carries for 144 yards with two touchdowns.
