Liverpool, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu is set to miss several weeks of action after suffering a hamstring injury on Saturday.
The Barcelona loanee pulled up and grabbed the back of his leg in the 64th minute of the Toffees' 4-1 win over Fulham at Goodison Park. He was carried off the pitch on a stretcher and replaced by Kevin Mirallas.
Scans taken showed soft tissue damage which would rule him out until after the new year.
Everton sit fifth in the Premier League and will face Swansea City on Sunday before entertaining Sunderland on Dec. 26 and Southampton three days later.
