Guangzhou, China (SportsNetwork.com) - The European team won five of the last six singles matches on Sunday to rally and win the Royal Trophy by an 8 1/2 - 7 1/2 margin over team Asia.

The Asian squad saw Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Thongchai Jaidee win the first two singles matches to give Asia a 7-3 lead at Dragon Lake Golf Club.

Marc Warren and David Howell earned 1-up victories to start the European comeback. K.T. Kim and Alvaro Quiros halved the fifth match when Quiros bogeyed the 18th hole.

Thorbjorn Olesen and Bernd Wiesberger posted matching 3 & 2 wins over Ashun Wu and Hiroyuki Fujita, respectively, to square the match at 7 1/2 - 7 1/2.

Nicolas Colsaerts completed the improbable comeback when he topped Wen-chong Liang, 2-up, in the anchor match. The duo traded wins on the first two holes, before Liang birdied the fifth to go 1-up.

Liang bogeyed the eighth, but came right back with a birdie on nine to regain his 1-up lead. Colsaerts birdied the par-5 11th to square things and the big- hitting Belgian grabbed a 1-up lead thanks to a birdie on No. 15. After a pair of pars, Liang faltered to a bogey at the last to drop the match, 2-down.

Asia opened a 3-1 edge after Friday's foursomes action, and maintained that two-point lead when Saturday's four-ball action was halved, 2-2.
