Dundee, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - Dundee United's impressive recent form continued on Saturday with a 4-1 triumph over Hearts at Tannadice Park.

United has now won its last three games while scoring four goals in each victory to move into third place.

Brian Graham scored twice for United and he opened his account in the 16th minute from close range after Stuart Armstrong's shot beat goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald.

Hearts equalized four minutes later after Jamie Walker drew a foul on United's Mark Wilson inside the penalty area, allowing Jamie Hamill to send goalkeeer Radoslaw Cierzniak the wrong way from the spot.

But the home side took charge of the game in the second half with Graham scoring his second goal of the contest from Wilson's corner kick in the 49th minute.

United added two goals in the final five minutes to seal the win as Gary Mackay-Steven scored on a curling shot from just inside the penalty area before a deflected effort from John Rankin found its way into the net.

Second-place Inverness was held to a 0-0 draw at St Mirren, leaving the club seven points behind leaders Celtic, while Aberdeen moved into the top four after a 2-0 victory against St Johnstone with goals from Peter Pawlett and Niall McGinn.

Hibernian salvaged a 1-1 home draw with Partick Thistle thanks to a stoppage- time equalizer from James Collins and Kilmarnock topped Ross County, 2-1, with Kris Boyd scoring the winner late in the first half.
