New Haven, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Duke's David Cutcliffe has been named the Walter Camp 2013 Coach of the Year.
Cutcliffe is the first Duke coach honored with the award, which is selected by the nation's 125 Football Bowl Subdivision head coaches and sports information directors.
The Blue Devils will play for the ACC championship on Saturday against Florida State after posting a record of 10-2 overall and 6-2 in the Coastal Division of the league. Duke will enter Saturday's contest with an eight-game winning streak, the longest for the once-moribund program since 1941.
Cutcliffe took over at Duke in December 2007 and has slowly turned things around in Durham. The Blue Devils earned a bowl bid last year and the 2013 campaign marks the first winning season for the Blue Devils since 1994.
