It's beginning to look like a lost season for Miami Dolphins rookie wide receiver DeVante Parker.
The rookie missed most of training camp due to offseason foot surgery, forcing him to play catch-up since then. Now, it appears as though he's suffered yet another injury to his surgically-repaired foot.
Parker left Thursday's game against the Patriots due to pain in his foot, and after sitting out practice on Monday, he also missed practice Tuesday. He said on Monday that he's not sure when he'll return to the practice field.
Thus far, Parker has caught just four passes for 49 yards in what's been an extremely disappointing rookie campaign. It's unclear if it's a setback to his foot or if it's just a scar tissue problem, but it's not a good sign for Parker regardless.
