The Los Angeles Dodgers signed pitcher year contract, with a mutual option for 2014.
"Chris is an established Major League starting pitcher who adds to our staff," said Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti upon announcing the deal Friday. "He made more than 30 starts last season was a reliable part of the Mets rotation."
Capuano spent last season with the New York Mets, going 11-12 with a 4.55 earned run average in 33 games (31 starts).
That was on the heels of a 4-4 season with Milwaukee in 2010 as the left- hander continued to recover from Tommy John Surgery, which kept him out for the 2008 and '09 campaigns.
In seven major-league seasons with the Diamondbacks, Brewers and Mets, Capuano has racked up a 57-64 mark and 4.39 ERA in 181 games, 153 of those as a starter.
