The Los Angeles Dodgers will be without center fielder Matt Kemp for the duration of the playoffs due to his troublesome ankle.

The team made the announcement after a 2-1 loss to the Colorado Rockies in Sunday's regular-season finale.

The NL West champions have grown accustomed to playing without Kemp, who was limited 73 games this year because of injury.

He finished with the season batting .270 with six homers and 33 RBI.
