Melbourne, Australia (SportsNetwork.com) - Four-time champion Novak Djokovic has been installed as the top seed at the Australian Open, which will begin Monday in Melbourne.
The world No. 1 and reigning Wimbledon champ Djokovic is followed by former top-ranked great and four-time Melbourne winner Roger Federer, former Aussie champ and French Open king Rafael Nadal, reigning titlist Stan Wawrinka and U.S. Open runner-up Kei Nishikori. Wawrinka stunned Nadal in last year's Aussie final to capture his first-ever Grand Slam title.
Seeds six through 10 are three-time runner-up Andy Murray, former Wimbledon finalist Tomas Berdych, Milos Raonic, former French Open runner-up David Ferrer, and Grigor Dimitrov.
The lone seeded American is No. 19 John Isner.
World No. 10 and U.S. Open champion Marin Cilic will skip Melbourne due to a right shoulder injury.
The draw will be revealed on Friday.
