Matt Denham rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns and also caught a scoring pass as Eastern Kentucky pulled away from Murray State 55-24 Saturday to conclude the Colonels' regular season.

Trailing 24-20, Eastern Kentucky (8-3, 6-2 Ohio Valley Conference) scored 35 unanswered points. The Colonels rolled up 372 yards on the ground to finish with 666 yards total offense, both season highs.

The Racers, who had scored at least 49 points in five of their previous six games, took their last lead with 10:05 left in the first half after Casey Brockman threw his third and final TD.

Denham then scored on a 33-yard touchdown run — he also had TD runs of 16 and 2 yards and a 26-yard TD pass from T.J. Pryor in the first half — to put the Colonels ahead for good.
