Del Potro will be appearing in his third final this year. He captured his 10th career title in Marseille and was a runner-up in Rotterdam.
Gasquet is seeking his seventh career championship and first since he titled in Nice in May 2010.
Del Potro is 3-1 lifetime against Gasquet.
The winner of this clay-court French Open tune-up will claim $95,000.
