Cullen Hamilton scored 16 points to help lead Holy Cross to a 101-70 win over Nichols on Sunday.
Christopher Morgan and Robert Champion fueled a 12-0 Holy Cross (3-0) run to make it 20-12 with 11:26 to play in the first period, and carried a 60-38 advantage into the break. The Crusaders continued to pull away in the second half, shooting 57.4 percent from the floor overall.
Hamilton was 6 of 9 from the field, including a pair of 3-pointers. Malcom Miller and Eric Green contributed 14 points apiece, and Anthony Thompson had 10 points and seven assists.
Nichols, an NCAA Division III team, closed to within 33-29 on Christian Horton's 3-pointer with 5:46 to go in the first half but the Crusaders responded with a 15-4 run and led by double figures the rest of the game.
Irving Eggleston led Nichols with 16 points.
