Cubs sign Trevor Gretzky

The Chicago Cubs have signed infielder Trevor round draft choice and son of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky.

Trevor Gretzky, 18, was selected out of Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California. He hit .393 with 15 extra-base hits in 31 games during his senior season.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Gretzky is a left-handed hitter and right-handed fielder. He committed to San Diego State prior to signing with the Cubs.
