The Chicago Cubs have recalled pitcher Brooks Raley from Triple-A Iowa. He will start the nightcap of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cincinnati Reds.
This will be Raley's second stint with the Cubs this season. The 24-year-old lefty made his major league debut on August 7 and went 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in a pair of starts before being optioned to Iowa on August 13.
In 22 combined starts between Double-A Tennessee and Iowa this season, Raley has gone 6-10 with a 3.58 ERA.
