Irving, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Dallas Cowboys have signed former Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden.
Weeden reportedly received a two-year deal for the league minimum.
Monday's news comes less than a week after Weeden was released by the Browns, who selected him in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Weeden went just 5-15 in 20 starts with the Browns and completed only 52.8 percent of his passes in 2013.
The 30-year-old Oklahoma State product completed 438-of-784 passes for 5,116 yards with 23 touchdowns and 26 interceptions during his brief stint with the Browns.
