Corinthians moves a step closer to securing title

Corinthians is just one win away from 0 win at Figueirense on Sunday.

Corinthians can clinch the title with a win at home against Palmeiras on Sunday, while Vasco will host Flamengo.

Ronaldinho helped Flamengo to a 1-0 win over Internacional as he scored on the stroke of halftime, while Gilson's goal in the 80th minute helped America Mineiro to a 2-1 win over Paranaense in a battle of bottom-three sides.

Two goals from Andre Felipe gave Atletico Mineiro a 4-0 victory over Botafogo, Ceara and Cruzeiro played to a 2-2 draw, last-place Avai finished its match with nine men as Jeci's goal in the 84th minute gave Coritiba a 1-0 win, Gremio and Goianiense finished 2-2, Palmeiras used a goal from Marcos Assuncao in the 55th minute to slip past Sao Paulo 1-0 and Santos played to a 1-1 draw with Bahia Neymar canceled out an early goal from Bahia's Rodrigo Souza.
