Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor and Denver Broncos wide receiver Trindon Holliday were named the AFC Players of the Week for Week 9
Luck threw for a single-game rookie record 433 yards with two touchdowns on 30-of-48 passing in the Colts' 23-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins to earn the offensive award. It was the first overall pick's fourth game with over 300-yards passing, tying Peyton Manning's record for the most by a rookie in a season.
Taylor received defensive honors by registering seven tackles and an interception in the Steelers' 24-20 win over the New York Giants. He was part of a defense that held the defending Super Bowl champions to 182 total yards.
Holliday recorded a Denver-record 105-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the Broncos' 31-23 decision over the Cincinnati Bengals to take home the special teams award.
