Indianapolis could have its entire starting defense on the field Sunday against Denver.

Linebacker Jerrell Freeman returned to practice Thursday after missing the end of Monday night's game against San Diego because of a concussion, and Pro Bowl safety LaRon Landry made it through a second straight practice after missing the last four weeks with an ankle injury.

The timing couldn't be better with Peyton Manning and the high-scoring Broncos (6-0) coming to town.

Indy (4-2) had only four other players on the injury report. Linebacker Bjoern Werner sat out with a foot injury, while linebacker Kelvin Sheppard missed practice because of a hamstring injury. Nickel cornerback Darius Butler was limited in practice by an injured groin. Safety Delano Howell, who was limited by a neck injury on Wednesday, was a full participant Thursday.
