Tarik Cohen had 13 carries for 115 yards and three touchdowns as North Carolina A&T shut out Savannah State 34-0 on Saturday.
Each of Cohen's scores came in the third quarter. He had touchdown runs of 17, 2 and a 54-yard breakaway that made it 31-0.
Kwashaun Quick overcame three first-quarter turnovers to throw for 135 yards. He hit Dequan Swann on a 17-yard touchdown pass to open the scoring in the second quarter and also finished with 58 yards rushing.
D'Vonte Grant had 11 tackles, three sacks and an interception. The Aggies (9-2, 6-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic) finished with eight sacks, leading to a total of -8 rushing yards for Savannah State.
The Tigers (0-11, 0-8) were held to 165 total yards and committed four turnovers. They had a chance to take the lead early in the second, but Marquis Ragland blocked John Barron's 32-yard field goal attempt.
